It probably helps to know: Furnished: Generally means that the rented property has everything to enable you to live comfortably, it often includes bedding and towels also. Semi Furnished: Usually means that the rented property has some sort of floor and window coverings and usually lighting and cooking facilities. Sometimes there may be some 'soft furnishings' such as a bed or sofa. Number of Rooms: Normally a two-roomed apartment will mean one living room (often with an open kitchen) and one bedroom. Similarly a three-roomed place would probably have two bedrooms. A studio apartment means that you have one main room that is used as your living and sleeping area, often combined with a small kitchen (you might also hear this called a 'bedsit').
